Credible, not corporate.

YouthTable S.A. connects people in Heideveld with practical support — food assistance, community meals and programmes for young people. The organisation is new, the work is real, and the audience is broad: parents looking for help, partners looking to collaborate and funders checking whether this is a serious operation.

The site had to do two jobs at once. It needed to be warm and plain enough for someone in the community to use on a phone, and structured enough that a funder could find the mission, the people and the programmes without hunting.

Structure that answers the next question.

  1. A page for every question

Home, About, Services, Programmes, Impact, Team and Contact each do one job. Visitors can go as deep as they need without a wall of text on the homepage.

  2. Plain language first

Services are described in the words people use — food, meals, support, programmes — rather than sector jargon. The writing assumes a first-time visitor, not a grant reviewer.

  3. Real people, real work

The team page names the leadership and staff, and the impact page uses photographs from actual activities. Nothing is stock, and nothing is invented.

  4. Contact that fits the audience

WhatsApp is the primary route, with a phone-friendly layout throughout. The build also supports a second language, so the organisation can reach more of its community.

The team at work — the kind of image that does more than a stock photo.

A small organisation that looks established.

The finished site gives YouthTable a public face that matches the work happening in the room. It is easy to navigate on a phone, clear about what the organisation does, and confident enough for a funder without pretending to be a larger institution.

What changed for the organisation

A single link they can send to anyone — a parent, a partner, a sponsor — that explains who they are and how to get involved. Delivered, approved and live.

“When young people are supported, they rise.”
